NOVEMBER 13 - DRAW IN!

A Date with the Right Side of the Brain

Pam Belcher will lead this drawing day of a still life. Please bring your most intriguing opaque pitcher, shapely vase, or vessel to share. Don't bring anything smaller than about 6" high. We will be setting up a still life in the center of the room with tables for drawing in a circle around it so that everyone has an unobstructed and unique view. If you have not drawn from life in awhile, or are totally new at it, do not bring colored pencils. It just complicates matters! Please bring a sketch pad or drawing papers, drawing pencil/s of at least 2B category softness (or softer), sharpener, kneaded eraser, and other eraser (if wanted). IF you have drawn from life frequently and know what you're doing, feel free to add color to this mix. We have secured a longer time for this meeting so we will not be rushed in drawing and can totally enjoy this date with the right side of our brains.

JANUARY 8, 2011 - TECHNIQUE TIDBITS ROUNDTABLE

We will demo various little tricks & techniques some of our members use, then have a free for all time for everyone to have hands on time with each tip.
